Rejoicing even when your world falls apart.

This afternoon Rev. Hall preaches from Habakkuk chapter 3:17-19. The land of Israel was decimated by the Babylonians for their sins against God. The people and the land were suffering immensely at the hands of the Babylonians. In the book of Habakkuk, Habakkuk the Lord’s Prophet, is questioning God on the situation that Israel finds itself in.
The title of this afternoon’s sermon is: Rejoicing even when your world falls apart.  Click on the link at the top of the page under audio sermons.

17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall the fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hind’s feet, and he will make me walk upon mine high places.  To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.  Hab.3:17-19.
